Accessibility statement

Healthcall's digital accessibility commitment — WCAG compliance, known limitations, dedicated contact.

Accessibility statement

Last updated: 21 April 2026

Healthcall (published by Groovit SRL, Frasnes-lez-Anvaing) is committed to making its showcase website healthcall.be accessible to as many people as possible, including people with disabilities, in accordance with the international Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA recommendations.

This statement applies to the public showcase website healthcall.be. It does not cover the Healthcall business application deployed in care homes, which is the subject of a separate accessibility initiative adapted to care workstations (high contrast, large characters, mouse-free navigation, compatibility with physical-button carer terminals — smartphone or DECT).

Compliance status

The Healthcall showcase website is designed to meet the WCAG 2.1 Level AA. As at the date of this statement, the following points have been verified:

  • semantic HTML5 structure (header, main, nav, article, section, footer);
  • heading hierarchy (single h1 per page, h2 and h3 in cascade);
  • skip link to the main content;
  • colour contrast validated via axe-core 4.11 (0 violations on the pages tested);
  • visible and consistent focus areas (cyan-500 outline, 2 px thickness);
  • aria-label, aria-expanded, aria-current, aria-hidden attributes on interactive components (mobile menu, desktop mega-menu, FAQ accordions);
  • FAQ accordion component based on native <details> (operable by keyboard without JavaScript);
  • text alternatives on decorative icons (aria-hidden="true");
  • form fields associated with their label;
  • support for prefers-reduced-motion to disable animations;
  • full keyboard navigation (Tab, Shift+Tab, Escape to close drawers).

Known limitations

The following elements are not yet fully compliant as at the date of this statement:

  • long comparison tables (pages /alternatives/, technical guides): rendered horizontally scrollable on mobile via a wrapper, but row-by-row voice reading may require additional effort for long tables;
  • demonstration videos: no video is published on the website to date. Future videos will include subtitles and written transcripts;
  • Cal.com integration for booking a demo appointment: the Cal.com iframe follows its own accessibility rules. An alternative contact channel by email or telephone is always offered in parallel;
  • forms: full client-side validation in preparation, with error messages linked by aria-describedby.
